Fresh, in-season corn on the cob is so delicious. It’s also really easy to make in the Instant Pot!
While we do enjoy grilled corn on the cob, more often than not, my go-to preparation is simply shucking the corn, stacking it in my steamer basket, and cooking it for a couple of minutes in my Instant Pot.
This is one of those perfect, easy summer recipes that you are going to want to use again and again in the upcoming months!
Instant Pot Corn on the Cob
There’s really not much to say about this recipe because it’s just so straightforward! I do recommend getting a steamer basket to cook the corn in because not only is it easier to transfer the corn to and from the Instant Pot, it’s also handy for prepping the corn to be ready to cook while something else cooks if you are using your Instant Pot for more than one dish and you only have one IP.
I do not add any seasoning to the water or corn while it cooks because my kiddos prefer just salt and butter on their corn, but if you wanted to try some different flavor combinations, you could season the corn in the Instant Pot just before cooking.
Of course, corn on the cob is good with A LOT of dishes, but a few of our family’s favorite main dishes and sides to enjoy with our corn are:
- London Broil cooked on a cast iron griddle (pictured below)
- Instant Pot Collard Greens (pictured below)
- Tastiest Easy Sliders
- Blistered Garlic Green Beans
- Smoked Pork Butt
- Instant Pot Meatloaf
- Pan Fried Chicken Strips
- Roasted Carrot Fries
