The goal of this blog is to encourage and help others as we all strive to be faithful as parents, homemakers, and recipients of great grace.
Knowing that none of us is perfect, it’s no surprise that I am not either. There is a pile of laundry on my couch as I type, we eat the occasional fast food, and a thin layer of dust covers much of my house because I just never think to wipe it off.
Many of the things I share are things that I have learned (and am learning). I hope that they will help others who find themselves in a similar situation or season in life.
It seems in our current culture that it is becoming hard to share things without causing unintended offense. In response to this trend, people often end up not sharing their successes and what they have found to be helpful in fear that they will make another person feel bad. Certainly we should resist pride and pray for humility, but I think that too often a blessing or needed encouragement can be missed.
My hope is that we can give each other the benefit of the doubt, take what we find helpful, and leave what isn’t.
With much affection,
Lisa
