Instant Pot Corn on the Cob

Cooking corn on the cob in the Instant Pot is so quick and easy! No fuss, tasty, and simple– Instant Pot corn on the cob is a perfectly delicious way to enjoy fresh corn!


  • corn on the cob, shucked and clean
  • water
  • salt
  • butter


  1. Add a cup of water to the bottom of the inner pot of the Instant Pot. Place the corn in a steamer basket, or set on a trivet above the water. Place the lid on the Instant Pot, turn the valve to sealing, and set the cook time for 2 minutes on high pressure.
  2. Quick release the pressure when the cook time is complete. Butter the corn and season with salt (and pepper, if desired).


I love using my steamer basket for cooking corn on the cob. It makes it very easy to transfer the corn in and out of the Instant Pot.

This method works the same for 2 ears of corn or 8!
