This barbecue dipping sauce is so easy to make with just a handful of common kitchen ingredients! It’s perfect to serve with chicken nuggets, pigs in a blanket, meatballs, and more.
Y’all know that my mission here on this blog and on social media is to show that from-scratch cooking and homemade meals is totally do-able for all kinds of homes and families. No matter your time constraints or kitchen experience, I love walking people through discovering that they can make healthy eating and cooking from scratch work for them.
I consider sauces like this to be a prime example of how simple it can be to throw together something from scratch– even if you’re serving it with chicken nuggets from the freezer.
Homemade and scratch cooking does not have to be all-or-nothing! (Say it louder for those in the back!)
I love making things from scratch because (1) I know what’s in the food I’m eating, (2) I can use quality, nourishing ingredients, (3) basic ingredients can be combined in innumerable ways in different recipes, and (4) generally speaking, food just tastes better when it’s homemade.
Easy Barbecue Dipping Sauce
Wow. I didn’t plan to say all of that, but what else is there to say about homemade barbecue sauce?
It’s QUICK. It’s EASY. It’s TASTY.
We’ve been enjoying this dipping sauce with our organic chicken nuggets from Costco for a very quick and easy lunch. Pair it with some carrot sticks and ranch, and maybe some homemade (or not) applesauce, and you have a very simple and nourishing lunch!
