You can make this homemade hot chocolate mix in five minutes or less, and enjoy rich and creamy hot chocolate all season long that is naturally sweetened and free of unnecessary additives!
- 2 cups powdered milk
- 1 1/2 cups coconut sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- pinch of kosher salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp arrowroot
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend for about one minute, until the coconut sugar is more fine and the mixture is well-incorporated.
- Transfer the hot chocolate mix to a glass jar to store.
- To prepare: combine 3 tablespoons of hot chocolate mix and 1 cup of hot water in a mug and stir. (Optional) Add whipped cream, milk, marshmallows, or chocolate syrup for serving.
If you want an even richer hot chocolate, use 4 tablespoons instead of 3.
