After weeks of wanting to put up our fall decor, I finally made time to decorate our home for Fall! And because I used only what we already had, decorating did not cost me anything!
Y’all, I am such a sucker for flashback photos. I.love.them. So before I show you my Fall Home Tour from this year, I’ll give you a peek at my fall decor from 2018, 2016, and 2014. (Not sure why I only shared fall decor in even years!) If you want to see more from a year (or more about the simple, frugal way to display pictures in 2016, or the child-made felt banner from 2014, just click on the year).
Check out those little babies from 2014!

THEN…
NOW…
Not only has my decor changed over the years, but so has the furniture and layout in my living room! We’ve painted, acquired new furniture, and I have honed in on my home decorating style. The one thing that hasn’t (and won’t) changed is the unpainted brick! Hubs wants no part of that and I just try to brighten up the space in other ways.
We got a piano! I am so excited about finally having a piano in our home (I’ve wanted one for years). My husband mounted the tv on the wall and we moved the dresser it sat on downstairs to the basement.
The metal pitcher on the piano holds our remotes and a hairbrush for our daughters. I don’t love the speakers and DVD player on top, but I’m currently at a loss for a different solution.
On the mantle, I hung the same DIY cotton wreath from last year, and am using the same lights. Actually, about half of it is the same, but just a different variation. The signs are both from Hobby Lobby, as are the artificial plants.
Not too long ago, I took down a table that had been mounted under the window and switched it with this simple cube organizer. I found the floral armchair at Goodwill for $20 and love the extra seating it provides in our living room.
The tray on the cube shelves is from IKEA, the lamp is from Target, the pumpkin is from Hobby Lobby, and the diffuser is a doTERRA diffuser currently making our house smell lovely with cinnamon, clove, and evergreen.
I did not decorate much in the kitchen because I’m really just enjoying the counters and surfaces as clutter-free as possible. But I did hang some fall-colored dish towels and fill a kitchen scale with artificial apples and pears.
I also swapped out the cereal bowls for our soup bowls that I found at Costco last year. The silverware caddy rotates and is from Hobby Lobby.
The only decorating I did in our dining room is on one floating shelf. The rest of the space is either decluttered or dedicated to homeschool.
I also recently moved the round mirror to the spot that it is now and I am definitely loving it there. It’s really convenient for quick applications of concealer before hopping on live videos!

I think that little white pumpkin is my favorite.
