I asked Stitch Fix to send me a box for my birthday this week. See what they sent and tell me what you think!

You guys. I am so excited about this fix. I’m not even going to attempt for suspense. I’m just going to lay it all out there and tell you that I LOVE everything that Stitch Fix sent me in my box this week!
I wanted a new fix as a birthday treat (my birthday is next week, so they sent it a little early). My last fix was a complete bust (it happens), but for this fix, I simply told them to surprise me with classic pieces. And they nailed it!
You can see what we they sent if you keep reading, or head over to YouTube and watch the entire unboxing and try on there! BUT BEFORE YOU GO, I just realized something tonight and I need your help!
In just two short weeks, a professional photographer is going to be at my house taking pictures for MY COOKBOOK! Woo hoo! I have been thinking that I need to get a manicure and figure out how to fix my hair (and try to figure out make-up???), but I had not considered what I would wear at all until this evening.
Now, I have some new pieces to choose from! So give me your opinions? Do any of the tops look like good cookbook shirts??? I’m so unsure of what I want to wear for this!
Comment and let me know what you think! And if you have never tried Stitch Fix (or it’s been a while), you can sign up to receive five high-quality and stylish items without having to leave the house!
My Birthday Stitch Fix Box
Wisp :: Ceena Jersey Dress :: $68
I am constantly trying to find dresses that are comfortable and still flattering for my body right now. I love this dress! The material is soft and flows, and the print is pretty and distracting from my “problem areas”. 😉
VERDICT :: Keep!
Your Story :: Bowman Lace Detail Top :: $44
Both the color and the lace detail won me over immediately. I knew as soon as I pulled it out of the box, that as long as it fit, I would want to keep it! This top will be great for the end of the summer, and will be great for layering in the fall.
Fun2Fun :: Mackenzie Henley Blouse :: $44
Another hit! I love this top, and my husband especially raved about it! It’s soft and so comfortable, and long enough too. The print is classic and it will be a super versatile piece in my wardrobe!
VERDICT :: Keep!
Papermoon :: Egan One Pocket Knit Top :: $38
Mustard is my favorite! Mustard + stripes = YES PLEASE. Yet another top that will be great for the end of summer and good for layering into the fall. I also love how long it is. The fit is perfect.
VERDIT :: Keep!
Kate Spade :: Small Square Studs :: $38
I have been wanting some versatile earrings to wear with anything in my closet. I really like these earrings, and since I loved the rest of the items in the box, it makes sense to keep these.
VERDICT :: Keep.
Since I decided to keep all five items, I get the 25% off discount (yay! it makes everything so much more affordable!). I got a dress, a pair of earrings, a top, and two tanks for $154– without leaving the house with my five kids and trying to find time to shop. (I do not usually like clothing shopping).
Stitch Fix may not be for everyone, and that is okay, but I have been using this service for a couple of years now and I am still so satisfied with the clothes and the fixes. Many of the pieces I have purchased are still some of my favorites in my wardrobe. I’ve also always been so impressed with their customer service.
I am already looking forward to my next fix. I want to ask for a kimono, a jean jacket, and some colored jeans or slacks!
How about you?
Want to give Stitch Fix a try?
First time users can try it for free! If you’ve tried it before, it’s just a $20 styling fee (which I would inevitably spend anyway if I left the house to shop) which will be applied to anything you decide to buy.
